The Internet Yami-Ichi is a flea market-style event where artists and creators trade “Internet-ish” goods in a physical marketplace. Founded in Tokyo in 2012 by IDPW, the collective led by Japanese artist duo exonemo, the concept has since traveled the world — with over 40 editions across 30 cities. In 2018, K.O. Productions, in collaboration with Veerle Devreese and Michel Langendijk, hosted the 25th edition in Utrecht at Tivoli, as part of Culturele Zondag – Utrecht Digitaal. Bringing together more than 50 digital artists, the event transformed the online aesthetic into tangible form, an offline celebration of internet culture, creativity, and community.
