Soft(n) is a work created by Thecla Schiphorst, developed within a European consortium consisting of Stoneroos, CharToon, Eindhoven University of Technology, CWI and V2, which was led by Philips in 2004. The work is an installation of soft networked objects that explore physical interaction and intimacy through the use of sensors – which was a very innovative and special research during that time. Soft(n) won the European consortium’s Golden Demo Award in 2007. After this it was presented to the public.
