During the 1990s, Siuli Ko founded and ran two independent underground music labels – Grijs and Nocturnal State – dedicated to experimental techno and electrobreaks. Both platforms served as outlets for Dutch underground artists such as Subliminal Criminal and Serotonin, with Grijs focusing particularly on The Hague’s vibrant and emerging electronic music scene.
