EyeWriter is a low-cost eye-tracking apparatus and custom software that allows graffiti writers and artists with paralysis resulting from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis to draw using only their eyes.
It was created by members of the Free Art & Technology Lab, Graffiti Research Lab: Tempt1 and OpenFrameworks teams, including Zach Lieberman, Theo Watson, Evan Roth, James Powderly and Chris Sugrue.
At Cinekid, the creative techology of EyeWriter was taken a step further with the development of a robotic arm that would let you write your name through the movement of your eyes, resulting into EyeWriter 2.0.
