DEAF (Dutch Electronic Art Festival) was an international and interdisciplinary festival existing between 1994 and 2014, organized by V2, with each edition having its own thematic approach.
As a projectmanager at V2, I produced a part of the festival in 2004 (Affective Turbulence) in the van Nelle Fabriek and 2007 (Interact Or Die) in Las Palmas.
For the later edition of 2012 and 2014, I produced both exhibitions as head of production. The 2012 exhibition, called The Power of Things, was my very favorite one to work on. It included fantastic works like Terra Nova by Crew and the amazing DEAF & REWIRE: Club Night collaboration. The 2014 exhibition, The Progress Trap, was created in partnership with The New Institute.
