DEAF (Dutch Electronic Art Festival) was an international and interdisciplinary festival organized by V2_ and held between 1994 and 2014, with each edition exploring a distinct curatorial theme at the intersection of art, technology, and society.
As project manager at V2_, Siuli Ko contributed to the 2004 edition Affective Turbulence at the Van Nelle Fabriek and the 2007 edition Interact or Die at Las Palmas. She later returned as head of production for the 2012 and 2014 editions. The 2012 exhibition, The Power of Things, remains one of her most memorable projects, featuring works such as Terra Nova by CREW and the DEAF & REWIRE: Club Night collaboration, a convergence of performance, sound, and digital experimentation. The 2014 edition, The Progress Trap, was realized in partnership with The New Institute, continuing DEAF’s legacy of critical reflection on technological progress and its impact on contemporary life.
